New Conan Film

I am a little offended by the comments coming from the company that is making this, saying that it will be truer tot he Robert E. Howard films, than the Swarchenegger films. As if they were bad.
Anyways here is the poster. I doubt the project will live up to Milius' vision unless it comes from a mind that is comparable.

ComingSoon.net has your first look at a teaser poster for Millennium Films' new Conan movie, based on Robert E. Howard's mythical conqueror Conan the Barbarian. The company said earlier this year that the new version will be more faithful to Howard's original creation than were the Arnold Schwarzenegger films.

•A movie, in development by Millennium Films (16 Blocks, The Black Dahlia), is planned for 2009. Malmberg, who is producing, wants to restore Conan to Howard's original noble savage, "a barbarian who is confronted with civilization as his life progresses and (who) has a much stronger moral code than the so-called civilized people."

my new office is next to Dark Horse Ent.
•Also from Dark Horse: The Savage Sword of Conan, a 542-page collection of the original Marvel Comics magazines, due Dec. 19 ($17.95), as well as continuing reprints of Marvel's original Conan the Barbarian comics and a new monthly series started in 2004. "The (Marvel) comics created the foundation for the movies," Allie says. "We felt it was important to reprint them."

I also think the project is already in motion meaning it is prestrike

i am going to have to write a stike post this weekend
