In order to win, Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee could no longer afford to sit on the sidelines and rely on the "nice guy, harmless" vote. As his numbers begin to rise he has to take steps to be taken seriously and look to engage the national frontrunners in some kind of debate that will distinguish him from the rest of the pack. Instead, he takes a cheap shot at Romney, in an effort to attract the uninformed masses that populate certain segments of the Republican Party. I think this is big mistake on his part, and if he continues to snipe at those who can win, his campaign will derail and he will be on the outside looking in once the primaries move west. Come on, Huck - give us something to believe in other than distrusting Mormons! There is plenty of that going around.
Huckabee Questions Mormons' Belief

WASHINGTON (AP) - Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee, an ordained Southern Baptist minister, asks in an upcoming article, "Don't Mormons believe that Jesus and the devil are brothers?"
The article, to be published in Sunday's New York Times Magazine, says Huckabee asked the question after saying he believes Mormonism is a religion but doesn't know much about it. His rival Mitt Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, is a member of the Mormon church, which is known officially as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The authoritative Encyclopedia of Mormonism, published in 1992, does not refer to Jesus and Satan as brothers. It speaks of Jesus as the son of God and of Satan as a fallen angel, which is a Biblical account. LINK

So I guess this guy likes Coke Zero?
His popularity is very short lived and he has to make whatever roads he can, as quick as possible. With Drudge reporting that dems are salivating at the chanceo of facing Huck, I think he felt he has to show that he can put up a fight. Unfortunately, he went for a girlish slap rather than good hook jab combination. Though I doubt it would be hard to land a good combo on someone like Mitt.
I still dont know why Medved likes him so much... if I didnt have a final during his show, I would like to see how he addresses this attack.
BTW the dog pictured is a Rhodesian Ridgeback - bred to kill lions... no joke.

I think Mattdawg should throw down some cash to get one in the family...
What is that you holding in your hand,
That is one good looking dog, and it looks like it works for a living with that scar near its eye. I went and read the article about the dog, but I couldn't find why the ridge has grown along the dogs back? There must be some reason or use.
